Thunderbird Lodge Lakeshore Water Tours
Come join Action Watersports of Incline Village for a narrated cruise along the majestic North Shore of Lake Tahoe to the Thunderbird Lodge. The cruise will be filled with some fun facts about how silver mining, the flume trail, and Lake Tahoe played an important role in the Comstock load. Our expert captain will bring you to Whittell’s “Castle-in-the-sky”, where you will go on a tour of the historic Thunderbird Lodge and experience what life was like in the Gatsby era. Leaving the Thunderbird Lodge, you will continue your boat ride that will take you by the prestigious exclusive homes of Lakeshore Drive.
Cruise Times & Departures:
- Available Thursday-Saturday at 9:00am with reservations only
- 8:30am check-in at beach gazebo, located in the center of Hyatt’s beach
- 9:00am boat departs promptly from Pier 111
- 9:30am arrive for tour inside the Thunderbird Lodge
- 10:45am depart Thunderbird Lodge
- 12:30pm arrive back at Pier 111
What’s included:
- Coffee, Tea & Pastries for the 1st half hour will be served
- Bottled Water and a fresh assortment of fruits for the 2nd half
- Narrated tour of the historic east shore and prestigious homes of Lakeshore Blvd
- Guided walking tour of the incredible Thunderbird Lodge Historic Site
Additional Information:
- $110 per adult, $80 per child ages 6-12 (children under the age of 6 are not permitted based on Thunderbird Lodge rules)
- $39 of each ticket sold is donated to the Thunderbird Lodge Preservation Society
- Light to moderate walking is required
